产地：中国辽宁省北票市上园镇四合屯
学名来源：“孔子”是中国古代的思想家、教育家，“圣贤”是历代封建王朝赠于孔子的封号。
保存现状：基本完整的个体。
基本特征：头骨各骨块不愈合，尚具有其爬行类祖先遗留下来的眶后骨，牙齿退化，出现了最早的角质喙。前肢仍有三个发育的指爪，胸骨无龙骨突，肱骨有一大气囊孔等等。

diagnosis: Skull bones unfused with postorbital retained. Teeth lost, horny beak present. Forelimb with three well-developed claws. Sternum keel-less. Humerus with a large pneumatic fenestra.
