<澳洲鳄/淡水鳄>

澳洲鳄是吻部狭窄的中型鳄鱼，平均体长2.1米，少数大者可达到3米。澳洲鳄生活于澳洲北部的淡水河流、湖泊、泻湖中，以鱼、昆虫、无脊椎动物和小型脊椎动物为食。澳洲鳄在旱季挖洞产卵。澳洲鳄虽然也受到偷猎的威胁，但是受到的保护比较严格，属于易危物种，养殖场也有大量繁殖。
